This is my journey from St Katherine by the Tower’s Marina to the River Roding at Creek Mouth in Barking. Was a young woman walking alone around the London Docklands Development Zone, sporting attractive waist length hair and carrying three very expensive cameras, asking for trouble? Maybe, but I was streetwise. Instinct and upbringing kept me safe.
